Saturday Story Time in Norway
NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library will host a Saturday Story Time for families who are unable to make it to the weekday events.
Saturday Story Time will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the Children’s Room.

OCEA-R to meet March 17
WEST PARIS — Oxford County Educators Association-Retired will meet for the first time in 2017 on Friday, March 17, at the West Paris Universalist Church.Sign-ins will begin at 10:30 a.m., and a brief business meeting will be led by John Kimball, president.
A meal will be served at noon, and the program will follow. Frank Perham, an expert on minerals and mining them, will speak to the group.
The last meeting of 2016 was held at the Locke Mills Legion Hall in November. The fund raiser was a silent auction, and winners of the scholarship raffle to raise money for Oxford County graduates were announced.
Anyone in Oxford County who enjoys mingling with fellow educators is welcome. Secretaries, custodians, bus drivers and anyone who was involved with the education of young people may also attend. OCEA-R is a voice for retired teachers and for public education.
Trail work day on Pleasant Mountain
BRIDGTON — Loon Echo Land Trust will host a trail work day at the Pleasant Mountain’s Ledges Trail on Saturday, April 15.
This beginner to advanced trail work day will be co-led by the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Maine Chapter.
