COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Isaiah Harris can add All-American to his list of accomplishments since graduating from Lewiston High School.
The Penn State sophomore runner placed fourth in the men’s 800-meter to earn All-America honors Saturday at the NCAA indoor track and field championships.
Harris finished the final in 1 minute, 47.94 seconds. UTEP freshman Emmanuel Korir won the national championship in the event with a time of 1:47.48. Virginia Tech senior Drew Piazza (1:47.63) placed second, and Georgetown junior Joseph White (1:47.79) came in third.
Late Friday, Casco native Kate Hall placed fourth in the women’s long jump, and also earned All-America honors. Hall, a Lake Region High School graduate, jumped 21 feet, 3.25 inches.
