It is a very sad day when the realization hits home that Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King, along with Reps. Bruce Poliquin and Chellie Pingree and their fellow princes and princesses in their Washinton fiefdom, really believe that they are serving the best interests of “we the people.”
The proof is in the results, except, whoops, there are no results.
Their only real concern is winning the next election. Once they get into their little fiefdoms with all the perks associated, they cannot get enough. It is an addiction to power, money and fame.
I believe that each and every member of the Congress, of which I believe there are 535, should be ashamed of themselves. I would hope that when they receive their paychecks that they hang their heads with shame.
As an example of their hypocrisy, let me use Obamacare. If it is so great, why have they exempted themselves and their staffs from it? It is good enough for their peons but not for them, the elite.
