He has been at the very center of developing the Universal Family Care policy, which includes affordable home care for seniors so they can gracefully age in place.
He has worked tirelessly in Augusta to save the important Drugs for the Elderly and Medicare Savings programs.
He has never been willing to compromise on tax fairness in the name of political expediency.
He has championed preserving the Homestead Exemption now on the governor’s chopping block.
He understands how the state’s refusal to fully fund the schools callously shifts the tax responsibility to property tax payers, especially senior citizens.
As a senior citizen, as a property tax payer and as a Lewiston city councilor, I’m honored to support Ben Chin for mayor of Lewiston.
