LEWISTON — The Lewiston Farmers Market will host its first-ever Spaghetti (Squash!) Dinner on Sunday, April 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the YWCA at 130 East Ave.
In addition to all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs, including spaghetti squash, the dinner will feature farm-fresh seasonal and local ingredients included in delicious recipes like creamy butternut squash soup, spring salad with pea shoots and spinach, buttery garlic bread and spiced apple crisp.
Other highlights of the night will include live music, a mini farmers market, and a chance to win a Johnny’s Selected Seeds starting kit at the evening’s raffle.
Tickets for the dinner will be $12 at the door and $10 ahead of time with a free raffle ticket. Children under 6 are free. Proceeds from the event will go to support Lewiston Farmers Market programs. Community members interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP ahead of time.
The first summer Lewiston Farmers Market will be held Sunday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bates Mill 5 Complex.
