LEWISTON — Maine Event Comedy presents 20-year comedy veteran Dennis Fogg at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, Saturday, March 25 at 8 p.m. The show will also feature Alex Giampapa, Josh Day and host, Mark Turcotte. Half of the ticket sales will benefit the Elks Lodge.

Fogg’s comedy and restaurant, Uncle Andy’s Diner in South Portland, were featured on an episode of the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible”. The Portland resident was a finalist in the Funniest Comic on the East Coast Contest at Mohegan Sun.

Giampapa is making huge strides in the Boston scene. He was recently featured in The World Series of Comedy and the Haha Comedy Cafe in Los Angeles. He also won the 4th-grade Francis Wyman Elementary School Spelling Bee and his mother is very proud.

Day runs the Stone Church Comedy Series in New Hampshire and has opened for comedy legend Dave Attell. He’s a familiar face at the Maine and Hampton Beach comedy festivals.

Turcotte was selected for the Boston, Cleveland and North Carolina comedy festivals, and will soon make his national television debut on AXS TV’s ‘Gotham Comedy Live’.

The Lewiston Elks Lodge is located at 1675 Lisbon Road. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets are available at maineeventcomedy.com. The show is for ages 21-and-older and doors open at 7 p.m. FMI: maineeventcomedy@gmail.com or 207-513-0742.
