I feel that I must come to the defense of dentist Dr. Jan Kippax. I have had eight teeth pulled and felt immediate relief. I didn’t even require any pain medication.
It would be tragic for Kippax to lose his license. He is affordable. He works out of a dated apartment building (tastefully remodeled, I might add), so he doesn’t have a lot of overhead, unlike a new, modern facility where assessors have come up with unrealistic value.
As for the allegations that he mistreated his patients — well, duh, they were having their teeth pulled.
I feel sorry for Kippax. The deck is stacked against him. And, because Lewiston-Auburn is not business friendly, he and his employees will probably be headed for the unemployment line.
