NORWAY — Five physicians on staff at Stephens Memorial Hospital and who practice at Oxford Hills Internal Medicine have received three-year recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance Heart/Stroke Recognition Program.
Recognized were Peter R. Harbage, MD; Francis Kieliszek, MD; Brian Nolan, MD; David J. Kumaki, MD; and William L. Medd, MD.
The recognition means they have met standards showing they are providing high-quality, evidence-based care for their cardiovascular disease and stroke patients.
The Heart/Stroke Recognition Program was launched in 2003 and was designed to recognize clinicians who have met standards demonstrating delivery of high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular disease and/or stroke.
