Sexual exploitation talk April 18
AUBURN — Nichole DaRosa will be speak to the Court Street Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at 129 Court St. about THRIVE New England. This seedling organization strives to prevent the sexual exploitation and trafficking of New England children and provides restorative whole person care for teen survivors.
This talk is sponsored by the Women’s Ministries of the church for the purpose of learning how to help young teenagers, boys and girls alike, who have been sex trafficked.
The program is free, but those attending are encouraged to bring a gift card that DaRosa can hand out to a teenager who has been trafficked to help him or her purchase personal items.
After more than a decade of teaching children, Nichole DaRosa became aware of the threat of sexual exploitation and has since been dauntlessly generating awareness. Her passion for empowering and educating children led her to join the THRIVE New England executive team. She has been working with THRIVE since 2014 to grow strategic partnerships that protect kids and combat exploitation.
