ATLANTIS, Fla. — Mark Stanley Brooker passed away at JFK Memorial Hospital in Atlantis, Fla., on Friday, April 21, surrounded by family after a short illness.

Mark was born Sept. 9, 1955, to Henry and Loris Brooker.

He grew up in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974. Mark was an athlete who loved all sports, particularly baseball, and took his love for baseball and employed it at the East Boynton Little League of Florida, where he moved in 1980.

His is survived by his son and best friend, Troy; sisters, Cathy Veilleux, Susan LaJoie and Julie Ouellette; brothers; Scott and Steven; twin brother, Matthew; and also a stepdaughter, Erika. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; and stepdaughter, Ashley.
