SABATTUS — A funeral Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lucille L. Terrio was celebrated by the Rev. Kingley Regan on Saturday, May 20, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.
At the beginning of Mass Lucille’s children placed a white burial pall on their Mother’s casket which signifies her Baptism into a new spiritual life with God.
During Mass Lucille’s daughter, Monique Terrio read both a scripture reading and the Prayer of the Faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Lucille’s granddaughters, Elizabeth and Kaitlin Orban who also both shared words of remembrance.
Following a funeral procession to Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus, Reverend Regan recited committal prayers. At the conclusion of prayers at the cemetery, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Uncle Moe’s Diner in Sabattus. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
