BOSTON, Mass. — Scott K. Curtis, 53, of East Oxford passed away Thursday morning, June 8, 2017.
Scott was born in Norway and grew up in Oxford, his favorite place. He is the son of Daniel and Linda Curtis. He worked as a forklift driver for the past 20 years at NEPW Logistics.
He had a passion for fishing and hunting, and loved tinkering in his garage. He was a very hard worker and took pride in his work. His biggest pride, though, was his family. You could always count on him for everything and anything, no matter what he was doing. Whenever his children needed advice or help, they knew their dad was always there for them. His children and grandchildren idolized him. He was such a kid at heart and enjoyed playing with his grandkids every chance he got, whether it was taking them sledding or tickling them. They were the highlight of his life. His love of his life, his soul mate, his best friend, his wife, Billie Curtis, was the world to him. They were blessed to be married 26 years.
Along with his parents and wife, he is survived by his three children, two sons, Wade and Adam, and his daughter, Vanessa; three sisters, Lisa (Brent) Tipple, Wendy ( Scott) Moshimer, and April Curtis; his sister-in-law, Teresa Curtis; five grandchilden, Max, Bentley, Orion, Atticus and Emalyn; two nephews, Kyle (Kristen), and Tyler; one great-niece, Hailey; and many uncles, aunts and cousins that dearly loved him and will miss him. He was so loved by Billie’s side of the family, the Degen family, with all his other brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Craig Curtis.
He will be sorely missed. We will miss his goofy smile, his laughter, his big, honest, caring heart, and his funny wit. Thank you for your love, your laughs and for you. We will never forget you.
