RANGELEY — A concert to raise money for sound and projection equipment for the Lakeside Theater will be held on Friday, July 14.
Hosted by Rangeley Friends of the Arts, the evening begins with cocktail receptions at private homes at 5:30 p.m., followed by a cappella music supplied by the PEPS, desserts and a concert. Good Acoustics, a James Taylor/Simon & Garfunkel tribute band from Massachusetts, will supply the music.
Gary and Jackie Patnode and family are spearheading the event, which is titled “A Lakeside Theater Fundraiser.”
Tickets are $100 each and all proceeds will go toward new equipment to bring first-run movies to the largest screen in Franklin County.
