AUBURN — Carolyn Ruth Pratt, 71, of Sabattus passed away Sunday, June 18, at Clover Manor with her family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston in 1945, the eldest daughter of LaForrest and Joyce Small. She was raised in Sabattus and Brunswick and attended local schools.
She married Benjamin Pratt on Dec. 1, 1962, and they spent 44 years together.
Carolyn loved flowers and was happiest when she was outdoors tending her many gardens. She enjoyed family get-togethers and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carolyn worked for Bowdoinham Linen Service, The Romper, Healthtex and L.L.Bean.
She leaves behind her son, Dennis Pratt, and his wife, Susan, of Durham; daughter, Jennifer (Pratt) Kerwin, and husband, Shawn, of North Monmouth; grandchildren Laura (Mike) Harvey, James (Jordan) Pratt, Allison, Madelyn, Jonathan and Matthew Kerwin; great-grandchildren Ted, Emmalee, Levi, Joshua, Benjamin and Lux (due in October).
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Benjamin.
