SCARBOROUGH — Dawn passed away Saturday, June 24, with family and friends by her side after a long battle with cancer.
She was born January 1, 1969, the daughter of James and Helen Hall. Dawn graduated from Gray-New Gloucester schools (Class of ‘87). She ran a home daycare for many years and was also employed by Maine Medical Center and Anthem Insurance, where she met some of her closest friends.
Her world revolved around her children. Some of her favorite times were had on family vacations, spending time at camp, being a dance mom and, of course, baking her famous cupcakes for anyone at any time. Her love for life was infectious and it shone in her smile.
Dawn is survived by her parents, James and Helen Hall of Gray; husband of 24 years, Chris Bailey of Gray; son, Tyler Bailey and partner, Kristina Vine, of Northford, Conn.; daughter, Kelsey Bailey and partner, David McCann, of Gray and New Gloucester; sister, Samantha Dufresne, husband, Mark and nephews, Zeb and Zeke, of Gray; aunt, Barbara Hall Davis of Gray; her extended family; and many friends.
