MECHANIC FALLS — The Maine Country Music Association will host a stage show, featuring appearances by members of the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame, at the Silver Spur on Sunday, July 16, beginning at 1 p.m.
Performers at the four-hour country showcase, which will be emceed by country music star Peter Allen, includes three or four country bands, hall of famers, plus other country music entertainers.
The Maine Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, located at the Silver Spur, will also be open from noon until closing for folks who would like to tour and view the artifacts from legendary Maine country music performers.
Donations at the door are $8 for adults, $3 for children under age 12, and free for children under 5.
The MCMA, founded in 1977, and the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum are 501(c)(3), not-for-profit corporations. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help them with their ongoing expenses and upkeep.
