LEWISTON — A local man broke his ankle when his bicycle struck a car on Sabattus Street Wednesday morning, police said.
Kevin Tardiff, 46, was riding his bicycle along Oak Street and was crossing Sabattus Street when the bike struck the side of a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Brian Richards, 25, of Lewiston shortly before 9:30 a.m.
Tardiff was taken to a local hospital and treated for a fracture of his right ankle, according to police.
