UMF Campus Police are investigating an incident of vandalism that occurred Tuesday evening at the Technology Commons building on campus, located at the corner of South and High streets.

FARMINGTON —  University of Maine at Farmington Campus Police are investigating an incident of vandalism, criminal mischief, that took place Tuesday evening at the Technology Commons building.

Someone went in to the stairwell of the building, located at the corner of South and High streets, and drew a large picture with permanent marker, Police Chief Brock Caton said.

The vandalism was reported at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

“The investigation is ongoing and we are working with other area law enforcement agencies to gather and develop leads on a possible suspect,” Caton said.

“We ask that anyone with information contact the UMF Campus Police Department at 778-7400.”
