WILTON — The family of Rosaire Couture gathered for the 26th annual reunion on July 8 at Kineowatha Park with 41 family members attending.
Five of the 15 children of Rosaire attended, while two could not make it due to health reasons.
An old picture was passed around for identification. Aunt Georgette Sutton could name some of the people, who included a priest, nuns and older family members from years past. Some children and their parents went swimming.
Everyone brought lunch to share, then the business meeting was called to order.
Kim Couture was re-elected president for the 27th time. Everyone voted to keep the reunion at the Kineowatha Park reunion hall.
Drawings were held after the meeting. The 50/50 was won by Barry Couture. The other drawings were donated by Athanase Couture. Winners were Alyssa Couture, Taylor Moody and Joe Couture. After the meeting was adjourned, the Aggravation Game continued.
The next reunion will be on July 14, 2018.
