PARIS — The Mclaughlin Garden & Homestead will host its first ever Family Fun Day on Sunday, Aug. 6. Starting at 2 p.m., the garden will host the Celebration Barn Road Show, “On the Go!,” a fusion of comedy, physical theater and vaudeville.
The cast includes Jess Bryant from North Carolina, Khalil LeSaldo from Maine, and Rachel Resnik, a Celebration Barn intern from South Carolina. Juggler Fritz Grobe will round out the cast, performing during the Road Show and giving an exclusive hands-on juggling lesson after the performance.
Attendees can then move into the barn to watch the Disney film, “Moana,” presented in collaboration with the Paris Pubic Library. Bring a blanket or sleeping bag for relaxed movie watching. Light refreshments will be available The program is free and open to the community (donations will be accepted).
The Mclaughlin Garden & Homestead is located at 97 Main St., Route 26. Parking is available near the garden gate on Western Avenue or on the grass between the white Curtis House and Maurice’s Restaurant.
