BOCA RATON, Fla. — Lawrence R. Theriault, 83, of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away peacefully at West Boca Medical Center on Saturday, July 29, with his loving family by his side.
He was born Sept. 19, 1933, the son of Leo Theriault and Stella (Parise) Theriault. Larry was educated in Rumford schools and graduated in the Class of 1953. Larry served our country in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1954 through 1955.
Larry and his wife, Bobbie, enjoyed traveling around the world. He was a friendly, fun-loving guy who loved everything in life. He was an avid golfer, loved dancing, Tuesday night card games, and especially visiting his family in Maine. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion and VFW.
Larry is survived by his wife, Roberta (Bobbie) Theriault, of Boca Raton, Fla.; daughters, Deborah Dorr and husband, Jack, of Rumford, Barbara McGrogan and husband, Patrick, of Greensburg, Pa.; sons, David Theriault and wife, Kathleen, of Hartford, Daniel Theriault and partner, Taryn Schulman, of Reno, Nev., and William McGregor and wife, Sharon Kittanning, Pa.; brothers, John Theriault and wife, Marilyn, of Clearwater, Fla., and Philip Theriault and wife, Sally, of Westbrook; grandchildren, Jack Dorr and fianceé Shayleigh Martinosky, Megan Dorr Daniello and husband, Eric, Bailey Theriault, Dr. Kaitlin McGrogan, Hunter McGrogan, Michael and Lindsey McGregor, Katie Hicks and husband, Dylan, and Kevin Capponi and wife, Kayla; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Ethan Dorr, Aden and Zachary Daniello, Ices and Josiah Lobato, Gunnar Hicks, and Kamber Capponi; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Stella Theriault; his brothers Raymond, Elbert (Bert) and Norman; his granddaughter Amy Jo Dorr; and daughter-in-law Deb Harding Theriault.
