BRIDGTON – Player registrations and sponsorships are being accepted for Bridgton Hospital’s 27th Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at Bridgton Highlands Country Club. This long-standing tournament has raised over $1 million over the past 25 years in support of the many services and programs offered by Bridgton Hospital. This year’s tournament will benefit the Bridgton Hospital Therapy Services Pediatrics Program and the Clinical Staff Education Fund.
Players will experience an organized tournament structure complete with shuttle and bag valet service, breakfast, barbecue lunch and hors d’oeuvres, along with high-quality player favors. There are multiple sponsorship opportunities available. Sponsorship levels are packaged to include marketing benefits, a foursome, mulligans, and raffle tickets for an easy registration process on the day of the event.
The Therapy Services Pediatric Program is being expanded to meet the needs of children in our local community who are challenged with communication and mobility problems. The program is in need of a multisensory room to provide a space for relaxation, elimination of distractions and increase sensory input, facilitating communication and mobility for children with a wide range of disabilities. Funding for equipment will facilitate the incorporation of therapy into play. The Clinical Staff Education Fund was created to support the education of staff members who do not receive continuing education dollars as part of their compensation. Proceeds from the Bridgton Hospital Golf Tournament will directly benefit these needs.
