AUBURN — Let there be gas.
Walmart will celebrate reopening the gas station outside its Mount Auburn Avenue store with a ribbon cutting on Friday.
Unofficially, the pumps will likely start back up Wednesday or Thursday, according to store personnel.
When the gas station closed last fall, a store associate said in November it had been owned by an outside company.
“Walmart is purchasing it and then they’re remodeling it and making it a Walmart gas station,” he said. “We get calls constantly.”
