AUBURN — District Governor Lincoln Ehrlenbach will be the speaker at the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club meeting at noon Thursday, Aug. 24 at the Village Inn, 165 High St.

Ehrlenbach grew up in a Rotary family, attending rotary meetings and functions at an early age. Ehrlenbach’s grandfather was a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Ellsworth. His parents were involved in the Rotary Club of Ellsworth, his father was past president, club secretary and historian and his mother was a Rotary Ann.  

Ehrlenbach joined his grandfather’s club in 2002. He has served as secretary, president 2009-2010 and on other boards. He established the Interact Club at Ellsworth High School and organized and helped raise $1,800 for Haiti Relief. Ehrlenbach attended the Rotary Leadership Institute and was a Paul Harris Fellow four times. At the district level, Ehrlenbach served in many capacities before becoming district governor.

He attended Eastern Maine Vocational Institute and the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and was employed at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher and at the Hancock County District Attorney’s Office as a paralegal. 

After retirement, he went to work for the family business, Timberland Acres RV Park in Trenton. Ehrlenbach has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 40 years, and they have two daughters, Erin Collins of Scarborough and Ashley Johnson of Hancock as well as three grandchildren. 

Ehrlenbach enjoys downhill skiing, playing golf and spending time with the grandchildren.
