ERWIN, N.C. — Lorraine J. Deschamps Pulsifer, 83, of Erwin, North Carolina, formerly of Livermore, died Monday, Sept. 4, at her home.
Lorraine was born April 4, 1934 in Auburn, daughter of the late Harvey and Cecile Maheux Deschamps. Lorraine was a graduate of Edward Little High School and later from Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair and Fashion in Lewiston. She had worked for Knapp Shoe in Lewiston and retired from Walmart in Auburn, and was also a self-employed cosmetologist. She was a member of South Erwin Baptist Church and loved bluegrass and country music.
She is survived by her son, Bernard Boileau and wife Doreen of Spring Hill, Florida; daughters, Michelle Boileau of Falmouth, Maine, Rachel Thornton and husband Dan of Falmouth, Maine, Lise Voigt and husband Louis of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Danielle Shea and husband Dean of Dunn, North Carolina; grandchildren, Brianne Gilmore and husband Donnie, Christian Boileau, Zachary Cushman, Audra Cushman, Wesley Voigt, Alexandra Voigt, Ethan Cushman, Patrick Thornton, Andrew Thornton, Devon Shea and Darby Shea; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Gilmore, Ily Gilmore, Sadie Cushman, Ava Gilmore, Liv Gilmore and Daxton Gilmore.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Roland T. Boileau and Harold W. Pulsifer Jr.; and brother, Donald Deschamps. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.finleyfuneralhome.com.
