Stevens, a survivor of domestic violence, and several dozen other survivors, officials and supporters gathered at Festival Plaza in Auburn where several speakers addressed the crowd before they all walked over the Longley Memorial Bridge into Lewiston where the vigil, organized by Safe Voices, continued. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
