FARMINGTON — This year’s Strut for Strays! 5K Trail Run & Dog Walk was a huge success. Thanks to the sponsors, who more than covered the costs for the race, and 101 race registrants, the Franklin County Animal Shelter raised just under $3,000.
Grand prize winners were Hannah Coleman, who won a free night’s stay at the Wilton Comfort Inn, and Amie Finn, who won a free all-day lift ticket at Sugarloaf.
The shelter is planning the fifth annual Strut for Strays on the last Saturday of September 2018.
Long-sleeved T-hoodies sporting the shelter logo, designed by Catherine Kate Chapman, are available for purchase for $18. Sizes are available in medium, large and x-large.
