LEWISTON — Muktar Ali scored with 19 minutes to play in the second half to lift Lewiston past Brunswick, 2-1, in a key late-season boys’ soccer matchup at Garcelon Field at bates College.
Hamza Ali had the assist on the game-winner.
Bilal Hersi also scored for the Blue Devils (9-2-2) in the first half with Noralddin Othman setting the goal up.
Mats Rasch scored for the Dragons in the first half off a rebound.
Cooper Millett had one save for the Blue Devils while Jared Hummer had six for the Dragons.
Cape Elizabeth 2, Gray-NG 0
GRAY — A single goal in each half did the trick as Cape Elizabeth hustled to a 2-0 boys’ soccer win over Gray-New Gloucester on Friday.
Alec Riggle and Oliver Moon each scored for the Capers (8-3-1), while John O’Connor contributed with an assist.
Sean Agrodnia made four saves for Cape Elizabeth, while Brannon Gilbert deflected six shots between the posts for Gray-New Gloucester.

Edward Little 2, Mt. Ararat 0
AUBURN — A pair of goals was more than adequate for Edward Little on Friday as they celebrated senior night with a 2-0 girls’ soccer victory over Mt. Ararat.
Lauren Berube and Caroline Hammond each scored for the Red Eddies, while Grace Fontaine contributed with an assist.
Taylor Depot made six saves for Edward Little, while Zoe Stilphen turned aside 11 shots for the Eagles.
Winthrop 5, Dirigo 0
WINTHROP — Abby Shumway led a group of five players to record a goal as Winthrop rolled to a 5-0 girls’ soccer victory over Dirigo on Friday.
The Ramblers built a 2-0 lead in the first half with Shumway and Sierra Huff finding the net. Danielle McClure, Aaliyah Wilson-Falcone and Madison Moore each tallied after the break to complete the scoring.
Sammie Moody made five saves to notch the shutout, while Kalie Morse turned aside 15 shots for the Cougars.
Gray-NG 5, OOB 0
OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Alexa Thayer found the net twice on Friday to propel Gray-New Gloucester to a 5-0 rout over over Old Orchard Beach.
Emma Woods, Laurel Thomas and Jaley Martin also tallied for the Patriots (6-6-1) to complete the scoring.
Chelsea Davis needed only one save to notch the shutout, while Kaitlyn Cote deflected nine shots for the Seagulls (6-5-2).
Oak Hill 5, Spruce Mountain 0
WALES — Sydney Drew netted a pair of goals on Friday to propel Oak Hill to a 5-0 late-season win over Spruce Mountain in more girls’ soccer action.
Julia Noel, Lydia Therrien and Rylea-Mae Swan also tallied for the Raiders (13-1-0) to complete the scoring.
Anna Dodge (5) and Grace Woodard (3) combined to deflect eight shots for Oak Hill, while Annabelle Collins (4) and Allison Acritelli (4) turned aside eight shots for the Phoenix (7-5-2).
Mt. Blue 0, Messalonskee 0 (2OT)
FARMINGTON — Some impressive goaltending by Mackenzie Libby enabled Mt. Blue to gain valuable Heal points and salvage a 0-0 deadlock against Messalonskee in another late-season girls’ soccer tilt on Friday.
Libby made 16 saves for the Falcons (3-7-3) in a solid performance, while Hannah Delgiudice deflected six shots between the posts for Messalonskee (8-1-4).
Monmouth 9, Hall-Dale 1
MONMOUTH — Audrey Fletcher netted four goals on Friday as Monmouth overpowered Hall-Dale, 9-1, in more late-season girls’ soccer action.
Allison Burnham chipped in for the Mustangs (13-1) with two goals, while single tallies by Anna Lewis and Kayla Brooks completed the scoring. Catrina Kincaid scored the lone goal for Hall-Dale (6-5-3).
Destiny Clough turned aside 10 shots for Monmouth, while Maggie Gross made eight saves for the Bulldogs.

NHTI 5, CMCC 1
CONCORD, N.H. — A strong first half helped New Hampshire Technical Institute take an early lead to which they held on in a 5-1 win over Central Maine Community College on Friday.
Cole Owens led NHTI with a pair of goals, while Jarred Stewart, Nicholas Covert and Jake Davis rounded out the scoring for the home team.
Abdullah Jashaami netted the lone goal for the Mustangs (3-4). Jacoby Robinson (six saves) and Dalton wing (three saves) split the goaltending duties for CMCC in the loss.
John Eaton turned back four to earn the win between the pipes.
