AUBURN — The Sun Journal, the Auburn Public Library and Central Maine Community College will host a mayoral debate starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Kirk Hall on the CMCC campus.

The public is encouraged to attend.

Candidates are Adam Lee and Jason Levesque. The two are vying for the seat now held by Mayor Jonathan LaBonte, who is not seeking re-election.

Questions will be taken from the audience and online viewers, and can also be submitted in advance to Mark Mogensen, managing editor/days of the Sun Journal, at mmogensen@sunjournal.com.

The event will be live-streamed on sunjournal.com and recorded by Great Falls TV for later broadcast.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
