LIVERMORE FALLS — A Rumford woman was taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon after the vehicle she was driving rolled over on Park Street, also known as Route 133.
A Regional School Unit 73 bus was traveling north toward the downtown area and activated its light to drop off students at 552 Park St.
Lona Judd, 39, of Rumford was driving a 2004 Jeep south on Park Street toward Wayne when she was not able to react in time to a vehicle that stopped in front of her for the school bus lights, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Thursday.
Judd overcorrected and did a 180-degree spin and the Jeep rolled onto the driver’s side in front of 545 Park St., he said.
Judd complained of neck pain and was taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to a hospital. It was unclear Thursday what hospital she was taken to.
The Jeep is owned by Rose Holt of Livermore Falls, Steward said.
Officer Darian Nadeau and Livermore Falls Fire Rescue responded to the accident, which was reported at 3:09 p.m.
