LEWISTON — A piano recital by George Morrissette will take place at this week’s Oasis of Music, Trinity Episcopal Church in Lewiston, Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. On the program will be Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, commonly known as his Pathétique Sonata, and the Italian Concerto by Bach.

Morrissette is a retired physician from Lewiston whose life-long devotion to classical piano literature has brought much musical pleasure to the local community, in both performance and support.
