AUBURN — The Auburn Fire Department has been awarded a Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Grant of $16,150 to buy a BullsEye Trainer’s Package — Digital Fire Extinguisher Training System.

The grant covers 100 percent of the cost. The system utilizes digital flames to simulate types of fires. With the system, the AFD will be able to perform fire extinguisher training indoors.
