AUBURN — Patricia Thomas passed peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Hospice House in Auburn following a long illness with her loving family by her side.
Pat was born Nov. 30, 1940. On Aug. 22, 1959, she married the love of her life, Jim, and was his devoted wife for over 58 years. Pat worked as a secretary for the Town of Mexico for 25 years. After retirement they enjoyed many winters in Lake Havasu, Ariz. Pat had a huge heart. The one word to describe her is kind. Time spent with her family and friends was her greatest joy.
Pat was predeceased by her mother, Lillian Decker; sisters, Kathryn Horne and Marilyn Labbee; and brothers, Harland Parlin, Keith Parlin and Lewis Parlin. Survivors include her loving husband, Jim, of Mexico; daughter Kathy McKenna and husband, Ray of Peru; and daughter, Holly Woods and husband, Ronny of Peru; grandchildren, Ryan Woods and companion, Bianca Jackson of Peru, and Amber Woods and companion, Curtis Bowie of Westbrook; great-grandchildren, Rennan and Kael; and sister, Beverly Stevens and companion, Dick Letalian. She will be missed by a special niece, Anna Touchette; and a very best friend, Janice Bradbury.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed beyond words. The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care given to Pat.
