Here are my choices for the Nov. 7 election. I have selected only candidates who are running with opposition.

For mayor of Lewiston, Mark Cayer. For mayor of Auburn, Adam Lee. I support the merger of Lewiston-Auburn.

Best candidates running for the Lewiston City Council include: Ward 2, Zachary Tyler Pettengill; Ward 6, Joline Landry Beam; Ward 7, Thomas Shannon.

For the Lewiston School Committee: At-large, Safiya Said Khalid; Ward 1, Ahmed Abdullahi Sheikh; Ward 4, Tanya Marie Estabrook; Ward 5, Hassan B. Abdi.

On the state ballot, I favor a “yes” vote on all questions.
