I grew up and have spent my whole life in Auburn and just do not understand why the two cities cannot or will not work together to achieve the savings and growth without merging.

I feel that all the bickering and difference in opinions has created quite a lot of hard feelings on both sides of the river.

The cities and people involved with the campaigns would have been better off using all the money spent on studies to find ways to work together to achieve any mutual goals.

I will be voting “no” on the consolidation issue. I want to keep Auburn just Auburn.
