Socrates Cafe to meet
BRIDGTON — The Socrates Cafe will meet Monday, Nov. 6, at the Bridgton Community Center.
The meet and greet will begin at 6:15 p.m. The discussion will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The discussion topic will be “Defining Patriotism” with moderator Ted Gerber.

Pine Tree Quilters Guild meeting
NORWAY — The Pine Needles chapter of the state wide Pine Tree Quilters Guild meets from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays in the community room of the Norway Town Office, year around.
Both hand and machine quilters are welcome.
There is a schedule of optional activities such as occasional road trips, group projects and monthly trips out for lunch.

WILTON — The Thrift Shop at the First Congregational Church is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays, Main Street.
The public is welcome. Clothing and household items can be found at the shop.
Storytellers Guild to meet
FARMINGTON — The Western Order of Dedicated Storytellers Guild meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Joseph Parish, 133 Middle St.

WILTON — SeniorsPlus will be at the Wilton Free Public Library the first Thursday of every month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The organization will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families.
