LEWISTON — David Roscoe Gilpatric died at home in Lewiston on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
He was the son of David E. and Hester Gilpatric of Minot, and was born in Lewiston on Aug. 16, 1954.
He grew up in Minot and Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School with the Class of 1972. He also attended the University of Maine at Orono and was a graduate of Central Maine Technical Institute in Auburn in 1976.
He was employed over 30 years by the Lewiston Brass Works and was also employed by Pioneer Plastics of Auburn.
He was a 50-year member of Court Street Baptist Church in Auburn. He is survived by his parents; one sister, Diane, of Lewiston; two brothers of Minot, Daniel and wife, Candi, and Douglas and wife, Wendy; one niece, Sydney; and three nephews, Riley, Zachariah and Jack. He is also survived by an uncle, Donald Verrill and Janice, of Minot; aunts, Martha Verrill, of Minot and Nancy Conant and Bruce, of Hebron; and also many cousins. He is also survived by his much-loved goddaughter, Danielle Marquis, of Minot.
