RANGELEY — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 75-year-old local man.
Robert Wetherbee of Spruce Street in Rangeley, which is his summer residence, has been missing since Thursday, when he was scheduled to drive from Rangeley to North Windham, Connecticut, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. wrote in a release.
Wetherbee never arrived, according to a family member and a friend. Wetherbee was last seen in a blue 2012 Ford F150 single-cab pickup truck with Maine registration 6924TD. He had his golden retriever with him.
Wetherbee is 6 feet one inch tall and approximately 180 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
It is reported that he may be confused, however there is no diagnosis of dementia, Nichols wrote.
Those who have seen him or his vehicle are asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 207-778-2680.
The Connecticut State Police filed a missing persons file nationwide Friday.
