OTISFIELD — The Lisa Bean Thurston Memorial Tree Lighting will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.
Santa will light the tree and share cookies and hot chocolate.

Knitting guild to meet
HEBRON — The Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the hone of Patricia Valeriani. This will be the guild’s annual Christmas party.
There will be a potluck luncheon, so those attending should a dish to share. A Yankee Swap will follow; gifts should be $5 or less.
