YARMOUTH — Gemma Landry’s two first-period goals got Lewiston/Monmouth/Oak Hill rolling in a 8-0 girls’ hockey win over Yarmouth/Freeport on Saturday at Travis Roy Ice Arena.
Landry scored at the 2:41 and 5:13 marks and Bed Leclerc added another goal for a 3-0 lead less than 90 seconds later.
Landry scored again in the second period to earn the hat trick.
Jordan Mynahan, Katie Poland, Grace Dumond and Sara Robert also had goals for the Blue Devils (2-0).

CMCC 99, Hampshire 46
AUBURN — Rodney Theodore hit eight of his 11 shots from the field, including two from beyond the arc, and added three from the line for 21 points, leading the Central Maine Community College men’s basketball team to a resounding 99-46 win over visiting Hampdhire College on Saturday.
Kenny Hyunh added 13 and Jerimah Blackwell chipped in 10 off the bench for the Mustangs (9-1). All 15 players who dressed for CMCC on Saturday played, and each scored at least once.
Jimmy Marrone led Hampshire with 12 points, while Forel Kourouma added 11.
Colby 89, Bowdoin 84
WATERVILLE — Ethan Schlager scored 19 points and the Colby College men’s basketball team held off a late Bowdoin College rally to pull out an 89-84 victory in the non-conference game between the rivals Saturday.
The Mules improve to 6-1 overall and will host Bates College next Saturday at 3 p.m. Bowdoin, ranked 22nd in the D3hoops.com national poll, also is 6-1 overall.
The two teams will play their NESCAC game on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m. in Brunswick.
