STATEWIDE (WGME) — Maine is in store for a white Christmas.
Not only will it snow, but it will snow 6 to 12 inches in central and southern Maine.
The snow will start around 5 a.m. Monday morning and last until Monday evening.
Highs will be cold in the teens and 20s, resulting in a light and fluffy snow.
It will also be breezy so the snow will drift and likely pile up against fences and buildings. Winds gusts 20 to 30 mph are expected.
Tuesday will be partly sunny in the 20s.
Temperatures take a tumble on Wednesday with highs in the teens.
