A package special in pints is $8 or quarts, $10, or “a la carte” with prices as low as $3 for a pint of beans.

PARIS — Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will serve a turkey pie supper with assorted homemade pies and desserts at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue.
Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for kids 3 and younger.

RUMFORD — A benefit for Holly Arsenault, a Chinese auction and spaghetti dinner, will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Eagles Hall.
Arsenault has been diagnosed with bone cancer. A wife, mother and grandmother, she is bedridden and in hospice care. Arsenault has no insurance and can use help. Donations for the auction can be dropped off or picked up upon calling one of the numbers listed below.
The auction will start around 3 p.m., with the drawing around 6:30 p.m. Organizers would prefer to have winners present at the time of the drawing.
The spaghetti dinner will start at 5 p.m. and be served until 6:45 to 7 p.m.

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will serve a community supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at 50 Main St., Route 219.
There will be a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds will benefit the outreach mission of the church.
