BETHEL — Jonah Sautter scored 40 points for the second time in three days as Lisbon defeated Telstar 77-63 in boys’ basketball action Monday.
Sautter, who scored 42 in Saturday’s win over Wiscasset, made eight of the Greyhounds’ 15 3-pointers Monday. DJ Douglass (16 points) hit four treys, and Sean Scott (11 points) drained three.
Lisbon (5-2) scored the game’s first points and the Rebels were never able to catch up.
For Telstar (2-6), Blake Rothwell put up a career-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers. Jarrett Bean added 23 points for the Rebels.
Hall-Dale 50, Oak Hill 49
WALES — The Hall-Dale boys’ basketball team survived a back-and-forth battle with Oak Hill on Monday, winning 50-49 to keep its unbeaten record intact.
Alec Byron led the Bulldogs (8-0) with 16 points, and Ashtyn Abbott contributed 12 points to the victory.
The Raiders had a chance to win the game, but were unable to get a shot off.
Darryn Bailey notched another double-double for Oak Hill (4-5), scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Gavin Rawstron added 11 points and Cohen Donnell finished with 10.
Dirigo 75, Madison 47
DIXFIELD — Four players scored in double figures in Dirigo’s 75-47 boys’ basketball win over Madison on Monday.
Cooper Chiasson led the Cougars’ (6-3) scoring charge with 18 points. Chase Clark made four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points, while Alex Gorham put up 14 points and Jeremy St. Germain finished with 10.
Evan Bess scored 12 for Madison (4-4) and Justin Meader had 11.
