LEWISTON — Cole Ouellette scored a goal and assisted on another four as the L/A Nordiques blanked the Long Beach Sharks 11-0 at the Colisee on Saturday evening.

The Nordiques (24-9) pounced early when Caleb Labrie converted a pass from Andrew McCormick at the 1:37 mark. Kyle Secor netted his sixth goal of the season just over a minute later.

Adam Colclough produced his 13th of the season and first of two in the game on a relay from Ouellette.

Ouellette earned one of his own five minutes later to make it 4-0 in the first period.

The Nordiques weren’t stopping anytime soon, scoring another five in the second period. Secor notched a pair of assists on later period goals from Crewz Berry and JP Chauvin.

Clifford Ogle started off the third period with an unassisted tally, and his second goal of the game. Colclough closed out the night with a conversion from Ouellette and Berry for the 11-0 rout.

Goalie Ryan Cortez and Ben Vutci shared keeper duties and saw 60 shots for the Sharks (5-25), while goalie Jason St.Pierre made 15 saves to earn the shutout in net for the Nordiques.
