PORTLAND — Trey Davis scored 31 points to lead the Maine Red Claws to a 109-100 G League victory over the Long Island Nets Sunday afternoon before a sellout crowd of 2,417 at the Portland Expo.
L.J. Peak added 20 points for the Claws (16-15), who saw a 13-point second-half lead evaporate in the fourth quarter. After head coach Brandon Bailey was ejected for his second technical foul early in the fourth, Maine fell behind 90-88 before Peak sparked a 14-2 run to regain control.
Devin Williams had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Red Claws, who play seven of their next eight games on the road. They return to the Expo Feb. 10.
