BRUNSWICK — Maine State Music Theatre will hold local auditions on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at 22 Elm Street. This is an open call audition. Those who wish to audition should show up, sign in, and will be seen in the order in which they arrive. Times are:

• Children 6 to 10 years old, 10  to 11 a.m.;

• Maine adult actors, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and

• Potential performance interns, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Callbacks will be held on Sunday, March 4.

Children should bring a headshot and resume and prepare a 16-bar song (must bring sheet music). Adult actors should bring a headshot and resume, prepare 16 bars of two songs (must bring sheet music). Accompanist will be provided. Some actors may be asked to remain for the dance call from 3 to 5 p.m. and they should bring appropriate dance shoes. Not all locals will be required to dance in shows.

MSMT is seeking local adults for “Beauty and the Beast,” which will be performed June 27 to July 14; “Saturday Night Fever,” July 18 to Aug. 4; and “Singin’ in the Rain,” Aug. 8 to 25. The theatre is seeking children for “Beauty and the Beast” and possibly “Singin’ in the Rain.” The theatre is also seeking performance interns ages 18 and older for the full season May 21 to Aug. 26.
