LEWISTON — The next Holy Cross Knights of Columbus “Take Out Beans” will be dished from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Holy Cross church hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Diners can purchase a package special ranging from $6 to $10 or “a la carte.” Those attending should note the time change for pick up. Orders may be called in at noon or later on the day of the event at 207-212-5163.

SUMNER — Congregational Church of East Sumner will serve a winter cookout supper with burgers and hot dogs at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at 50 Main St., Route 219. 

There will be a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds will benefit the outreach mission of the Church. Donations are accepted for the meal.

AUBURN — The American Legion Post 31 will hold the monthly breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at 426 Washington St. North.

SABATTUS — Harry J. Conway Post 135, American Legion, will hold a community fundraising breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at the post building, 40 Island Road.

The breakfast is open to Legion members and residents of local communities. The cost is $8 per adult and $3 per child 10 and younger.

Proceeds from the breakfast support community and veteran’s programs, veteran rehabilitation and employment, national security, Americanism and children and youth programs.

Volunteers to help with breakfast are always welcome as are persons interested in becoming new members. Wartime veterans may go to www.legion.org to join and help our veterans and community.

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

The public is invited to attend lunches presented there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.

WAYNE — A prime rib dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Cary Library’s Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road. Snow date will be Sunday, Feb. 11.

Dinner will include wine, appetizers, prime rib and a selection of homemade desserts.
