LIVERMORE FALLS — Richard V. Lapointe, 21, of Livermore Falls, passed away, Friday, Feb. 2, in Livermore Falls.
He was born Nov. 12, 1996, the son of Davis Clark and Tammie (Grant) Lapointe. Richard attended Livermore Falls High School and graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 2015. He had worked for Pallet One, with Shane Wilkins as a meat processor, and most recently with Shane Gray on the chicken crew. He was a member of the Ellis River Riders Horse Club, Local Boy Scouts and Young Marines. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, walking in the woods, music, camping and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. Richard had also walked part of the Appalachian Trail.
He is survived by his mother, Tammie Lapointe, of Livermore Falls; his brother, Joshua Pelletier, of Newport; sister, Pamela Travis, of Scarborough; maternal grandmother, Marge Grant, of Livermore Falls; his nephew, Alex Pelletier; niece, Phoebe Travis; uncles Terry Grant Jr. of Dover-Foxcroft, Christopher John Grant of Tennessee and Christopher Michael Grant of Canton; aunts Mary Lou Grant of Tennessee and Penny Gould of Livermore Falls; best friends Tareck Ward and Jazmin Hersom and their son, Tareck Ward Jr., whom Richard consider like a nephew, also Billy Dennis and Uncle Kenny Ward all of Livermore Falls, many cousins and his devoted companion and best friend, his dog, Diamond.
He was predeceased by his “Papa,” Terry Grant Sr., and father, Davis Clark.
