LEWISTON — Public works crews are working on a water main break Tuesday morning on North Temple Street.

The city reported the break about 9:30 a.m. and did not have an estimate for how long it would take to restore water service to the area.

McMahon School was closing for the day and sending children home.

MCMAHON PARENTS- There is a water main break on North Temple. McMahon is closing. Parents who pick up can do so now. Buses will begin their runs at 10 am. Students will only be dropped off if homes are occupied. Otherwise, everyone will go to Montello for the rest of the day.
