AUBURN — Edward Little and Cony skated to a 3-3 overtime tie in boys’ ice hockey action Saturday evening.

Following a scoreless first period, the Rams (7-6-2) sandwiched a pair of Red Eddie (9-5-1) goals with two of their own. Again in the third period, both squads traded goals.

Sophomore Ben Lane-Robichaud netted an unassisted power play goal at 9:07 of the third period to even up the contest at 3-3. Robichaud had assisted on the first goal of the game as well, scored by Marius Morneau for the Red Eddies.

Goalie Gavin Toussaint made 16 saves for Edward Little, while goalie Dalton Bowie turned back 28 for Cony.

Cape Cod 6, L/A 5, OT

LEWISTON — Kegan Crawley scored his first NA3HL goal at the best possible time Saturday, finding the back of the net at 1:42 of the overtime period to lift Cape Cod to a 6-5 win over the L/A Nordiques at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Tanner Little led the way for the visiting Islanders with a pair of goals, and Esa Maki turned back 33 of the 38 shots he faced to earn the victory between the pipes.

Five different players scored for the Nordiques, including Armand O’Keefe and Nick Ventura with a goal and an assist each.

Jason St. Pierre took the loss in net, allowing six goals on 29 shots.

NBA G-League

Mad Ants 122, Red Claws 103

The Maine Red Claws had a big lead but got blown out in the second half and fell to Fort Wayne, 122-103 at the Portland Expo on Saturday.

Maine (16-20) was led by Boston Celtics assignee Guerschon Yabusele with 25 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Bennett added 21 points and 13 boards in the loss, and Celtics two-way player Kadeem Allen scored 23 points and added five assists. Drew Barham added 12 points for the Red Claws.

Fort Wayne (21-15) was led by a huge performance by Walter Lemon, Jr., who finished with 40 points on 16-of-31 shooting. DeQuan Jones added 27 points, while Jarrod Uthoff scored 18 in the win.
